Music Edit

I have edited the original soundtrack from 6 minutes to roughly 2 and a half. This was due to the song becoming repetitive, which the audience did not connect with. As in the audience research they stated that music was the key part of the music video. So they suggested that the music should not repeat and have a variation in style.

Running/ Tracking shots of main character through Bristol City centre and Suspension Bridge.

Harbor side: Tracking shot through the centre past the Hippodrome.

Scene: Party

Point of view shots, disco lights, close ups.

Worried face of female protagonist (Possibly earlier in the day, to suggest waiting time)

Props

Film Locations:

Bristol City Centre: Night time (convention of a party atmosphere for the Trance Music Genre)

House (Main part of the video, again filmed at night, possible colour flashing from house neon blue) This will be an inside shoot. The house shoot for the party scene will be the most productive, due to majority of the actors I will be using will not be old enough to go into clubs.

Journey through Bristol, showing off landmarks: Suspension Bridge (again night time shoot)

Spine: Near At-Bristol (Iconic landmark for journey before reaching party)

Moodboard:

Moodboard on various items and backgrounds relating to the Trance Music Genre.

Colour on Camera:

To create the blue neon effect on the shots without having to resort to only lighting, I could use different PVC sheets to cover the camera lens with a coloured sheet to create this effect.

From the audience research I would have to have the main colour as neon blue. RThis could easily be done by putting the sheet over the camera lens and have lighting at various points to create different shadows of blue.
